Larry,
You could code an external script with a new test which discovers the
condition and sets yellow or red depending on your own thresholds. You
would just need to query the other tests you were concerned about via
"query" option on the "bb" command and depending what is considered
flapping ( how often, how many times, it changed status, etc.) set your
new test's status.

Subject: [Xymon] flapping status color
Is it possible to make network tests report "yellow" when flapping
occurs? This would solve a problem I've been having, seems some admins
here don't think flapping is a problem. I disagree, but if I could make
it flapping a "yellow" event I think I could make everybody happy.
Thanks,
Larry Barber
