Hobbit-folk,
Well, I was able to work around this problem by pointing at another DNS
server. It turns out that I had a few hosts that would not resolve. At
least they don't resolve on the DNS server that I changed over to.
What made me suspicious was that the last entry in the log file was
something about "Got DNS...." which ceased after the last good host.
So, Henrik, the timeout on the ARES code is not working any more? Or is
not reliable?
