Would it not be sensible to remove it? I don't know if that can be done or not (don't see why not though), that way we don't have to worry about an odd version floating around. Maybe put a README in its place stating that the patch was released incorrectly, or some such?

  I am not frustrated of "next realease not coming". I was hoping
  to answer the question of why not putting all-in-one patche into a source tree
  to relieve the patching headaches.
