[Xymon] Test http-pages using different proxy servers

All,

i want to test if a special website is reachable using different proxy servers. In our setup, proxyserver1 routes the traffic to the internet using gateway1, proxyserver2 does this using gateway2.

Therefore, i've already added the statement "--bb-proxy-syntax" to tasks.cfg and restarted the xymon processes.

Further, i've configured the following in the hosts.cfg (note that xxx.webpage.com is only for this example here and is nothing that really exists...):

      0.0.0.0 webpageoverproxy1 # noconn http://proxyserver1:8080/http://xxx.webpage.com/<http://proxyserver1:8080/http:/xxx.webpage.com/>
      0.0.0.0 webpageoverproxy2 # noconn http://proxyserver2:8080/http://xxx.webpage.com/<http://proxyserver2:8080/http:/xxx.webpage.com/>

We do not need proxy authentication.
I get the two entries for webpageoverproxy1 and webpageoverproxy2 containing the test columns http, info and trends.

My assumption was that each of the http tests will show me a line telling me which proxy has been used to establish the http test:

Via: 1.1 gateway1 (squid) for the first line of hosts.cfg example from above
and Via: 1.1 gateway2 (squid) for the second line of hosts.cfg example from above

but I was failing.

Both of the http tests contain this line:

                Via: 1.1 gateway1 (squid)

This means to me that my setup from the hosts.cfg as shown above doesn't work.

Can anybody tell me what's going wrong in here? Could this be a cache issue?

Regards
Christian
