[hobbit] Need Help Setting up Two PAGERS/DISPLAYS/Xymon Servers

All;

I am still stumped here for a viable solution. I have resorted to building two Xymon servers, each located in a different building, thus am unable to use the "Linux-HA plus DRBD" solution. What I'd like to do is implement a solution that works:

In reviewing the "HA-WAN approach" it DOES require having two Xymon servers configured for each client, but I am not sure where to find the required script to detect a failing primary Xymon server, or how to properly set that up. Does the required script change DNS? Does my secondary send out alerts only for the primary when the primary is down? Or does it become my pager module and assume all duties of my primary?

In reviewing the "HA-WAN2 approach" it DOESN'T require having two Xymon
servers configured for each client, but I am not sure where to detect a failing primary Xymon server, how to
properly configure "bbproxy" and how to communicate to each other using BBDISPLAYS.

Perhaps either Patrick" or T.J. can assist with these questions?

Can anyone else please explain to me how they setup redundancy for their infrastructure?

Thanks all again,

.vadim

I am trying to eliminate having to go to each Xymon server individually for data and was wondering if perhaps there is a better way to show reports for the others?

By the way, I have a test XP workstation with BBWin and IP's for two of my Xymon servers, one is showing no data at all for this workstation.
