Conn test fails for everything periodically

Since the install date I have had an issue with each and every conn test
having a problem at least once a day.  The conn will complain it is down for
anywhere between a few seconds up to a minute or two.  I am quite confident
it isn't network related as it effects the conn test of the Hobbit server it
self - running 4.2.0.  It's really starting to get old.

It's running a pretty good NIC - Intel Pro 100 S I believe - Ethernet
controller: Intel Corporation 82557/8/9 [Ethernet Pro 100] (rev 0c).

I have left the default and tried 150 ms between pings -
hobbitserver.cfg:FPING="/usr/sbin/fping -i150"

Here is what the bbd/bbgen/bbtest/hobbitd test has for conn's full history,
at the top and bottom.

Any ideas and things to test would be appreciated!
