DIALUP directive usage

Am I using the dialup directive correctly?

This is what I have:

page WAN Routers
group-compress <font size="+2">Cisco Routers</font>
172.16.98.250 dialup.tigr.org # ssh ntp DESCR:" :G-1"
#
group <font size="+2">Dialup Connections</font>
dialup modem-bank 172.16.98.10 48 #

but all I seem to get is an error under bbgen:
Error output:
Confused - hostname 'modem-bank' cannot be found. Ignored

Dialup.tigr.org is the dns name of the router.
If I set it up this way:

page WAN Routers
group-compress <font size="+2">Cisco Routers</font>
172.16.98.250 dialup.tigr.org # ssh ntp DESCR:" :G-1"
#
group <font size="+2">Dialup Connections</font>
dialup dialup.tigr.org 172.16.98.10 48 #

I do not get the error and the information displays but I only get
yellow question mark icons.

I have not used the dialup function before but it appears to not be
functioning as documented, or maybe I am not reading the documentation
correctly.
Thanks
