[Xymon] bypass duration for alert?

I would probably not have the duration in the alerts.cfg and instead send the status to a script.
In the script, look for a keyword. If it is there, act immediately. If it isn't then wait for a duration time defined in the script.
Paul.

Subject: [Xymon] bypass duration for alert?
Anyone know a way to send a status message which would preempt the duration setting within alerts.cfg?
What I would like to do is send a status message for a hostname.test which would cause an alert to be acted on immediately and skip any settings for duration.
Thanks,
John
