I just committed a new version of the "appfeed" CGI to SVN, which has 
support for the "filter" parameter.

This version also includes a "--hobbit" option, so it can be used on top 
of a 4.2.x Xymon server. I guess that might be useful to those who 
haven't yet upgraded.
