[xymon] Disk failures

It depends on your RAID. For hardware RAID-cards the vendors often
supply CLI-tools to query the status of your RAIDs, e.g.
- 3ware has tw_cli
- Areca has as CLI too (called cli32|cli64)
- Adaptec has arcconf (included in Adaptec Storage Manager ASM -- at
  least on Linux you do not have to install the complete beast to use
  it)
  Note that Adaptec-controllers are available as IBMservRAID and
  probably others too.

As suggested in an othe reply you have to write an extension (powershell
or whatever) to wrap the output of the CLI-utility.
