server/client logs format

Hi,

Sorry if this has been discussed already but I couldn't find anything in the 
mailing-list archive. Is there any docs/information about server/client logs 
format.

BTW: searching the archive with htdig is really a pain. For example I cannot 
manage to find anything relevant searching for "notifications.log format"
