BBWin Centralization mode and laptops

Hi All,
Here's a thought for the Centralization server and laptops...
If a laptop is on a LAN (directly or via VPN) then it will successfully
report to the BBWin client running in Centralization mode, however if it
is remote (home, on the road, whatever) then it will be unable to see
the Centralization server, so it will not have its status reported to
Hobbit. This is an issue.
Sure, this *could* be addresses by the laptop sending data to both the
Centralization server and the Hobbit server, but this negates the
benefits of the Centralization server - lowering Internet bandwidth.
What would be better is to be able to configure the BBWin client on the
laptop to be able to connect directly to the Hobbit server ONLY if the
connection to the Centralization server fails.
Thoughts?
