Acknowledge Alert in RC5

Seems IE browsers are not allowed to acknowledge alerts.  When I fill in 
the fields and press the button, a web page is returned that says
Bad request!
Your browser (or proxy) sent a request that this server could not understand
If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster
Error 400
I am running apache 2.0.52 on Solaris and this is what the access log 
shows.  The firefox one underneath works.  Anyone have any ideas?  Seems 
like the username is not passed in the log???
