So the 'xymon 127.0.0.1 "rename oldhostname newhostname" ' doesn't work?

Subject: [Xymon] Renaming Host

Hi all, I've had to rename a host in Xymon today and realised the shortcomings of Xymon for this. Has anyone got a script (linux Xymon server) that will move the histlogs data and hostdata to the new name rather than just the hist data like the built in rename command does? I'm not sure if I can just move the files to the new folders or if the data in the files needs tweaking as well.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Regards,
Neil Simmonds
