[Xymon] listing my pages as columns rather than rows

Thanks, that did the trick!  I changed it to 1 and now have one column.

Are you thinking of the XYMONGENOPTS setting in xymonserver.cfg?  You can set
--subpagecolumns=1
in there.  I have mine set to 3 and I get 3 columns.
