[Xymon] Agentless monitoring against Win/*nix systems?

Yeah, there are plenty of methods to do remote monitoring of Windows
(SNMP/WMI/RemoteMGMT/Powershell) but that's not what he asked. He asked has
anyone done this with Xymon.

Xymon itself doesn't have the capability to do that, it would need to be
done through some external program and the data fed into Xymon (like
devmon's use for SNMP polling - though again hardly agentless as you would
need to install an SNMP agent on all the systems).

There is no easy way of accessing WMI or Powershell from a Linux/UNIX
server against Windows, the tools are few and far between and most will
require manual effort to first build the packages, then secondly write
something around them to get the information and pipe it into Xymon.
