tons of files in histlogs/host/files dir

I have tons of files like histlogs/host/files/Tue_Jan_26_05:22:32_2010
with contents just this

clear Files status at Mon Jan 25 23:22:30 2010
No files checked

Status unchanged in 0.00 minutes
Message received from 10.240.93.27
Client data ID 1264483352

They are created every 5 mins like Tue_Jan_26_05:17:32_2010,
Tue_Jan_26_05:22:32_2010, ..

so for 380 hosts I have 12 of those files every hr.

I have 39945600 histlogs/<380 hosts>/files/Tue_Jan_26_05:22:32_2010
files in histlogs in 1 yr.

Looking for a suggestion on how not to generate so many files.

Currently I am running it like this

[bbhistory]
        ENVFILE /home/hobbit/server/etc/hobbitserver.cfg
        NEEDS hobbitd
        CMD hobbitd_channel --channel=stachg
--log=$BBSERVERLOGS/history.log hobbitd_history

Should I disable BBHOSTHISTLOG and/or SAVESTATUSLOG ?
