The only reason for this patch is to enable the graphs of the table space.
Since I didn't feel like deploying this patch on my production Hobbit servers
at the time ... I modified dbcheck.pl to print the tablespace in the same
format as the Hobbit disk check ... which allows us to have the tablespace
graphs (on the trends page only, not on the tablespace check unfortunately).

There is more benefit to running dbcheck without the Hobbit patch than
patching Hobbit ... so I would only waste time on this once you are actually
monitoring your Oracle servers with dbcheck.

However ... this does lead to some questions about patches to Hobbit. There is
the hobbit-perl-client patch, the BBWin patch, and shortly one for Devmon.
Hopefully this isn't going to result in the Qmail situation (where Qmail
administrators spend more time massaging the patches they want than anything
else ...). Can we expect integration any of these patches upstream (say, in a
Hobbit 4.2.1 release)?
