[hobbit] Sort of off topic (gsm modems)

The APC and Western Telematic devices work fine.  Just plug them into
the PDU, then your devices into them.  I've used the 8-port rack-mount
models, but I remember that WT makes a 2-port small unit.  Then you
can telnet or ssh in and power-cycle your equipment.
