Found it. It shows the hardware device in prtdiag.

I was just looking for the CPU states in prtdiag,

which didn't show up. However, I can look at the

hardware device.

Thanks for the prtdiag, I took a relook at it.

SB0 fault ON amber

SB0 power OFF green

SB0 ok_to_remove ON amber

SB0 failed

SB0/P0 disabled

SB0/P1 disabled

SB0/P2 disabled

SB0/P3 disabled

I believe a prtdiag -v should show the CPU states.

I was thinking of writing one myself. However, nothing shows

that some cpu's are down. I can do a psrinfo and a prtdiag

and it doesn't show the board that's out. I only know it's missing

cpu's because I can compare to a duplicate box.

ie....It doesn't show any off-line, they just don't' exist.

We use an old bb-cpu2.sh that tracks the CPU's on Solaris.

Hello All,

Is there any kind of test written for Hobbit or in Hobbit

that monitors systems with Multiple Cpu's and determines

if a cpu board is out.

Example: We are utilizing Solaris Servers which have several

CPU's. Recently one of the CPU boards went out on a system

reducing the number of cpu's. However, no alerts from Hobbit.

I want to detect this. Does anyone know of a test?

Thanks....James
