Hobbit not installed properly on solaris

Hi, 

I want to setup hobbit for monitoring. I installed all the necessary 
components on the system. Now it configured properly except the below :

Checking for RRDtool ...
test-rrd.c: In function `main':

Not RRDtool 1.0.x, checking for 1.2.x
Found RRDtool include files in /usr/local/rrdtool-1.2.23/include

Linking RRD with PNG library: -L/usr/local/lib -lpng

I assumed it is not error and went ahead to install it and so i ran the 
make (GNU) command. At one point I got the following error :

what could be the reason? Please help me to resolve this issue as i dig up 
lots of time but not able to solve it.
