"DEFAULT" applies to any host. Unconditionally. So if you put a "PROC
sshd" line in the DEFAULT section, it will check for sshd running on
ALL hosts. Doesn't matter if you have other PROC lines specifically for
that host; these settings are inclusive (or you couldn't have the 
rules you have in the first three lines where you want to check for
both snmpd and named).

Which is why it is generally not a good idea to put PROC lines in the
DEFAULT section.
