[hobbit] bbdisplay core dump

Still a really odd issue though, personally I don't really know what
"make clean" does in terms of compilation etc. but maybe there is a
conflict somewhere that this resolves?

Either way once you do make clean etc. it works fine and I have had no
problems since (beyond the ones I created for myself)
