[hobbit] Purple after RC5 install

I found the problem. I did a minor edit to the bb-hosts file and in the 
process changed, on one line "http://xxxxx" to "http//xxxxx" This caused 
the purple condition as the bb-network core dumped and didn't succeed in 
any further tests. Correcting the entry solved the problem.

Thanks for the help. Hobbit has proven it's worth to us.
