according to xymon 4.2.2 changelog that patch is already applied

So it looks like the patch is what causing the limit on BBALPHAMSG, doh!

Instead of modifying the Makefile for MAXALERTMSGSZ to a higher value
can there be a BBALPHAMSG env variable introduced ?
