If login is enough, then you can do something like this in bb-hosts:
0.0.0.0 testhost # https://testuser:testpass (at) testhost.lt:8443
see http://www.hswn.dk/hobbit/help/manpages/man5/bb-hosts.5.html
and search for "HTTP TESTS"
