See the bbgen man page, there is a command line option to set the number
of columns, I think --subpagecolumns. Add it to BBGENOPTS in
hobbitserver.cfg and restart hobbit, or add it to the CMD line for the
bbdisplay task in hobbitlaunch.cfg.
