Hi All
Think I should stay away from PC's today. I was running the script in
the wrong folder. Problem solved.

Try creating it and see if that solves the problem.

Subject: [hobbit] Client installation issue
Hi All
I have followed the step as outlined in the README.CLIENT file of the
tarball for xymon-4.2.2. I logged in as root. Created a user called
xymon. Un-tarred the files went into the new source directory and then
did a ./configure client, Then a make then a make install.
No errors. I then su to the xymon uid I created and run ./runclient.sh
start. I get the error cannot write to xymon/client/logs directory.
When I try find this directory it is nowhere to be seen. Am I missing
something?
Regards
Neil
