Status goes to purple if one Hobbit server is hanging

Hi,

 

We have two Hobbit servers, main and slave, monitoring same hosts.

Today the slave server was hanging (maybe due to the reason in
http://www.hswn.dk/hobbiton/2007/02/msg00352.html). The big problem is,
it affected main server, some status reported from script in client host
turned to purple periodically, seems Hobbit client sends data in queue,
so once get stuck with slave server, no data was sent to main server,
until time out.

Don't know if you met this before, if you did, could you help share your
experience how to solve?
