RE: [hobbit] Shire not responding

It was a low end APC...I'm looking into a different solution as this isn't the first one I've had issues with.  It was at least acting as a power strip until today.

If you don't mind me asking, can you tell me what kind of UPS it is?

No rush on this, it is an inconvenience but it isn't life threatening (to me at least =).

We just purchased a company and found several UPS units that will simply stop delivering power if the batteries are dead or if the fuse is blown.  Makes for a really bad battery backup solution in my opinion...
