RE: [hobbit] MSG column and HPUX 11.11

 I have the following in the hobbit-clients.cfg

 

            LOG /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log %SERIOUS red

 

And all I see is a white icon for all the 11.11 servers. My 11.23
servers are fine.

I am running HP-UX 11.11 at home and have no problems with syslog.

 

I added this to hobbit-clients.cfg

 

LOG /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log %ta red  

 

And got this in hobbit:

shows up fine and is scanning the /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log file on
HPUX 11.23 but not on HPUX 11.11 where it shows up as white. Is there
anything I can do to have it scan the syslog.log file on HPUX 11.11 as
well?
