Clean up hosts

I've installed the Hobbit admin tools scripts from
http://www.fh-augsburg.de/~henk/hobbit/ and I now have a "Clean host"
script.

I read the script and while I'm not very knowledgeable on these things I can
figure things out for the most part (like why the editor couldn't make a
backup - it's always permissions =) and I don't see any action being done in
it.  Can anyone tell me what this does?
