Hi all,
I just noticed that when not using a regular expression in LOG
statements in hobbit-clients.cfg, hobbit compares the expression to the
whole line. This is somewhat misleading (and different from BigBrother's
behaviour) and should be documented as such.
That is, the example from the manual :
LOG /var/adm/syslog ERROR
should read
LOG /var/adm/syslog %ERROR
unless you want a line with the only word "ERROR".
(I use hobbit 4.2.0 + oct2006' allinonepatch)
Regards,
