hobbitfetch loop?

I noticed that my hobbitfetch process had hung.  It was consuming all
available CPU.  I ran strace for a while and saw no activity, so I tried
killing the process, and saw this...

Any ideas on where to look?  hobbitfetch.log is completely barren.
