disk usage in size (disk1 graph) limited to ~ 2TB ?

I was considering making the disk1 graph the default for a specific
installation (where the customer has a service which includes a specific
capacity of storage available).
However, the disk1 graph flatlines at just over 2TB (the filesystem is 4.5TB),
with the values 2147483647.0KB for max and cur, while the disk check shows:
Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Available Capacity Mounted on
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:/share 4603452448 3710256576 893195872 81% /share
The disk graph (in percentage) looks a lot more reasonable (no flat lines).
4.2.0 running on all boxen involved.
