Feature Request: Client Message Queue

Some commercial software I have used stores messages on the local client if it can not contact the master server. i.e. WAN/external internet link is down (or even if you take your hobbit server offline).

An example is the free SRS Netconnect software from Sun. A portal is hosted at Sun and the netconnect client is installed on your local Solaris server. If your internet link is down the messages are stored and sent later when your link is back up.

This could also help with DMZ hosts. Force the internal hobbit server (or another internal proxy host) to contact the DMZ host and get its messages.

Thanks
