That is true, the bundled compiler is crippled. I am using the ansi c
compiler that HP has for real compilation.

As I have heard is the bundled c-compiler only good for recompiling the
kernel.

I would suggest to use a gcc and gmake to compile hobbit. I have
compiled hobbit on hp-ux 11.11 without problems.

Hello,
I have been a long time BB user, and have recently had to build
a new server and monitoring infrastructure, and have gotten a little
annoyed with how complex BB and LARRD have become. I have tried to
compile hobbit, but I get the following error. I have taken the -O out
of the Makefile and still have a problem...
cc -g -D_REENTRANT -DHPUX -I.
-I/home/campnd/hobbit-4.1.2p1/include -I/usr/local/include
-I/usr/local/rrdtool-1.2.10/include -I/usr/local/include -c -o do_rrd.o
do_rrd.c

I am a very BAD programmer so bare with me. TIA.
