Leave out the "<mailto...>" stuff, it doesn't belong in any config-file.

But I have been doing some work on the alert module, so do try it out with
the new version I'll release tomorrow. I still haven't decided if it's going
to be "beta-6" or "release candidate 1".

Alerts in the current betas are rather flaky, unless you happen to set
things up just the way I do.
