enable/disable of checks broken? hosts disappearing?

Hi,

I'm trying to get hobbit to disable checks on a host (or a specific check on
said host).  It goes through the processing screen, and then says it's
disabled, but when I finally get back to the Enable/Disable screen it
doesn't list anything as disabled.

Nothing shows up in the disabled/ directory either.

In the hobbit logs, bb-display.log is flooded with these:

2005-01-12 16:21:41 Whoops ! bb failed to send message - timeout
2005-01-12 16:21:41 hobbitd status-board not available

I can't find any other interesting bits of data.

I'm also still experiencing all my hosts disappearing.  When I try to stop
hobbit after the hosts disappear, 'starthobbit.sh stop' fails to kill
hobbitd, and I'm forced to kill the pid myself.  After starting back up, all
the hosts are back again.
