Yes, that could be interesting as an option to supplement the WAP/WML
view that bbgen already has.

Not only for smartphones, but also for PDA's like the iPaq (I dont 
have one, but one of my power-users do ...) - they have a 240x320
display.

I think it could be done mostly be changing the header- and footer-
pages in the web/ directory, and perhaps using letters instead of
icons for the red/yellow/green column-markers. Perhaps it would be
necessary to wrap long lines (many tests, columns) into some a more
compact form.

Definitely not 4.0 stuff, but interesting nonetheless.
