Just in case anyone wants to follow how I've got SNMP data collection 
and trend graphing working, I've done a bit of a write up.

It would be nice to get this up into documentation somewhere (with any 
suggested improvements) but not sure where. The wikibooks site looks 
very out of date (more discussion about hobbit than xymon) but nothing 
else seems appropriate.
