If "Remotes" played by the normal set of rules - yes, that probably would work.

Thanks,
John

Unless I'm misunderstanding, wouldn't it be just the typical group tags?

group RMS Dev Shared Database Servers

group RMS Dev Shared JBoss Servers

Because there is nothing added to the hosts.cfg file for remotes there are no examples of this.

Have you done this? What is the format used?

Thanks,
John

Make them a new group using the group tag, that will split them apart like you want.

I around 15 remote servers reporting their status back to a main server using the remotes entry in the hosts.cfg file. Although, I can create separate lines of remote servers they still are all listed horizontally across the screen.

The now look like this:
Remote Status Display Site1 Site2 Site3 Site4 Site5 Site6 Site7 Site8 Site9 Site10 etc
Location1 G G R
Location2 R Y G R G G G

Is there any way to group them like this:
Remote Status Location1 Site1 Site2 Site3
Location1 G G R

Remote Status Location2 Site4 Site5 Site6 etc
Location2 R Y G

Thanks,
John
