Hi,
I recently updated our xymon server to version 4.3.28 and noticed today that I'm (nor is anybody else) no longer able to disable services.
Strangely enough xymon also doesn't ask for a username/password upon starting the "Enable/disable" section in the browser.
It did so before.
So to make it clear. I browse to the xymon server, go to Administration, then to enable/disable. It shows the page (without requesting a username/password) and I'm able to select everthing needed. Only nothing happens when clicking apply.
Server OS: Sles11sp1
Xymon server has been restarted several times
Apache2 has been restarted
Appache config is setup to contact our AD server to check for authentication.
Apache Ldap config: (xxx's and yyy's are to mask company info)
<
AuthName "Xymon Administrator:"
AuthType Basic
AuthBasicProvider ldap
AuthzLDAPAuthoritative On
authLDAPUrl "ldap://ldap-example.com:389/ou=xxxx,ou=xxxxxx,dc=xxxxx,dc=xxxxx,dc=xxxx?cn?sub"
authLDAPBindDN "xxxxyxxxx"
authLDAPBindPassword " xxxxyxxxx "
require ldap-group cn=xxx,ou=xxxx,dc=xxxxx,dc=xxxxx,dc=xxxx
>
Note that this worked with our last version 4.3.23 and former versions.
Error I see in access log when performing a disable.
