[Xymon] Running Xymon on commercially hosted VPS?

We have a business need which could be met by running an instance of 
Xymon server outside our network. This would be a small instance running 
little more than xymonnet. There would be no clients reporting to it. It 
would not be running a web server.

Does anyone want to share their stores of success or failure doing 
something similar on a USA-located hosting provider?
