Hi Mike,
Can you see if the following patch helps? There's definitely the output
bug (which this should fix), but it's also very curious that you're seeing
so many post-open TCP errors. It seems like the previous logic should have
caught this before that flag was set, which makes it all the more odd that
false negative situations hadn't been noted before.
