Those commits are to trunk, not the 4.3 branch. The most recent change in
the 4.3 branch to loadalerts.c is r7359:

And was released in 4.3.14. A further change was made in 4.3.15 to
do_alert.c:

For what it is worth (and despite my colleague claiming it does not seem to
work) acknowledging events *does* work properly in 4.3.7 and I can use e.g.
Delay=150 to acknowledge it for two and a half hours and get the next alert
2.5 hours later (tested today).
