Hi Tom,
I'm a little bit foggy on this as it's been a while since it happened to
me. If I remember rightly, it's a process that doesn't report regularly
to Xymon. Effectively that column will only appear when you get a
failure and the only way to clear it is to drop the column. I remember
we found something in the logs somewhere that made it a bit clearer as
to what had happened.
I know that's not a very detailed explanation but hopefully it will help
you in the right direction.
Regards,
Neil.

Subject: [Xymon] TS - Program crashed - Fatal signal caught! - 2nd try
In the 3 years I have been running Xymon 4.3.0-0.beta2 on my CentOS
system, I have never seen this error:
Under the ICON 'hobbitd_client' on the primary Xymon
server:
Program crashed
Fatal signal caught!
The HISTORY shows nothing to give me a idea of what happened.
The Client data doesn't show anything either (it is attached).
If I 'restart' Xymon, the ICON stays RED.
If I reboot the server, the ICON stays RED.
How do I get the ICON back to GREEN?
Does anyone know what is going on?
Thanks,
Tom Schmitt
