[Xymon] Alerts don't go out

After a planned reboot this morning xymon is no longer able to send 
alert messages The alert logfile is filled with the following messages:

"send-mail: fatal: parameter inet_interfaces: no local interface found for 
::1
send-mail: fatal: parameter inet_interfaces: no local interface found for 
::1"

Sending messages from the command line using sendemail.sh works.

Operating system is openSuSe 11.3, x86_64, xymon version is 4.3.5,
According to yast2 IPv6 is disabled.

Any hints?
