Using the bbcmd hobbitd_channel -channel=status cat, I get:

@@status#4724|1283967339.511134|10.2.0.99||doylebrunson|procs|1283969139
|clear||clear|1238886095|0||0||1283967339

   1662 status doylebrunson.procs clear Wed Sep  8 12:35:33 CDT 2010 -
Processes NOT ok

   1663 &clear No process checks defined

This should be from the client running on the hobbit server.

I'm having a hard time determining what configuration file to modify for
the client that runs on the server itself. Basically, I want to start
monitoring PROCs. After some hunting (there are too many configuration
files with the words "client" and "local"), I thought I found the proper
file "hobbits-clients.cfg and added the following:

HOST=thishost.domain.com

        PROC beremote 1

you could watch the status channel to see what the name of the host as
sent by the client running on your hobbit server using either `cat' or
`hobbitd_capture'

bbcmd hobbitd_channel --channel=status hobbitd_capture
--hosts=<hostname> --tests=procs

-OR-

bbcmd hobbitd_channel --channel=status  cat

	(wonder if I could have used "localhost")

	Yet, I'm still not getting PROC monitoring

	(Oh, I'm still on hobbit 4.2)

Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
