Which version are you using?

This has not been my experience, however this was why I specifically asked 
about the value of the FPING variable in hobbitserver.cfg, which you didn't 
answer ...

I can take a look, but it would be easier with complete instructions to 
reproduce (and any relevant details about the platform you are on).
